MaxFloat
The MaxFloat is the core floating element of the FLOTAR® system, produced from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to ensure long-term durability and resistance to environmental impact. Its one-float-per-panel design provides consistent support and stability for each solar module. The MaxFloat is available in multiple thickness options, allowing buoyancy and strength to be adapted to different climates and site conditions. This includes the ability to withstand a wide range of snow loads.
WalkFloat
Connect
The Connect is a non-floating structural component used to link and secure the various floating elements of the FLOTAR® system. Designed for a precise fit, it ensures a strong and reliable connection between floats, maintaining the structural integrity of the system under changing environmental conditions. Connect components are available in multiple sizes to match different configurations, allowing flexibility in system layout and design.
Pin & Nut
The Pin & Nut fastening system secures the structural components of the FLOTAR® platform in place. Engineered for strength and ease of assembly, it locks elements such as the MaxFloat, Connect, and WalkFloat firmly together. This durable connection method ensures stability under constant movement from wind and water, contributing to the long-term reliability of the entire installation.
Tubes
The Support Tubes are patented structural elements developed specifically for the FLOTAR® system. Engineered for optimal load-bearing performance, they make it possible to support high-power solar modules of 700 Wp and above without compromising structural integrity. Their unique design distributes weight evenly and provides stable, long-term support, ensuring the system can withstand a wide range of environmental conditions while maintaining efficiency.

PROFLEXTM
The PROFLEXTM is an anchoring innovation developed by Profloating and Seaflex, it is the first internal anchoring method introduced in the floating solar industry. It allows the FLOTAR® system to be anchored from within, eliminating perimeter-only design constraints. By distributing forces evenly across the structure, PROFLEXTM enhances anchoring performance, increases overall stability, and extends the lifespan of the anchoring solution.
Pro-Line
Pro-Line is Profloating’s dedicated work method for the efficient assembly of the FLOTAR® system. Developed through extensive field experience, it combines specialized tools, clear step-by-step instructions, and proven installation techniques. By following the Pro-Line method, installation teams can significantly reduce construction time, work more efficiently, and minimize physical strain. This structured approach ensures consistent build quality across projects and contributes to a smoother, safer, and more controlled installation process.
Assembler
The Assembler is a specialized assembly stand designed to streamline the construction process of the FLOTAR® system. This exclusive Profloating tool supports the handling and fastening of components during installation, reducing physical effort for the construction team and increasing overall build speed. As a purpose-built solution, the Assembler is available only through Profloating and is specifically engineered for the assembly of the FLOTAR® system.
Inverter support
The Inverter Support is a universal mounting solution designed to hold inverters directly on the FLOTAR® system. Available in different versions to accommodate various weight categories, it offers compatibility with a wide range of inverter brands. The Inverter Support is engineered to provide a stable and secure position for the inverter, ensuring safe operation and easy accessibility for inspection or maintenance.
Cable management
Cable Management within the FLOTAR® system is based on Profloating’s extensive experience in optimizing cable routing for floating solar installations. Over the years, we have developed an effective method for securing cables in a way that maintains system performance, minimizes wear, and reduces the risk of damage from movement or environmental exposure.
Anchoring and Mooring
Since 2018, we have gained extensive experience in the development and implementation of anchoring solutions for floating solar installations. Over the years, we have identified anchoring as one of the most critical components a floating solar system.
